I took the Rocky Mountaineer in April of 2001 doing Red Leaf Class to Calagry both ways. What an incredible trip as I shot 8 rolls of film from the vestuible. The cars made for a great ride, the service was outstanding and the scenery was totally outstanding. Going roundtrip allowed me the views the mountains without clouds where they had been on the eastbound trip. This was one of my best train trips ever and a big thank you to the Rocky Mountaineer for making it so special. I would recommend this trip to everyone.``````Chris

Just returned from the Rocky Mountaineer GoldLeaf Dome. Could not recommend it any higher. Great value for Americans! Outstanding service and a well run operation.

I took the circle loop Vancouver - Jasper - Banff - Vancouver, traveling the Canadian Pacific and Canadian National Routes. Superior Service and outstanding viewing. If you can travel only one way select Vancouver to Calgary (two days with hotel overnight in Kamloops BC. The Spiral Tunnels are the highlight. Going east the scenery constantly gets more impressive...choose east over west.

If you are contemplating a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer - quit thinking about it and DO IT! The organization is as well run as anything I have seen and the equipment and scenery are first class. They call themselves the Most Spectacular Train Trip and it is.
